The digital version of monograph on CD represents a loose continuation of the collective work by workers of the CGS Geological Atlas of the Czech Republic – Stratigraphy (in Czech), published by the Czech Geological Survey in 1994 for a wider geological public and teaching at universities. Our atlas represents an explanatory dictionary of the regional-geological nomenclature of plutonic bodies of the Bohemian Massif and it also features proposals concerning their terminology and hierarchical classification.We are aware of a number of inadequacies in view of the large extent of the monograph; our work therefore needs many corrections. However, we are convinced that presentation of the atlas in electronic form at this stage will establish interactive communication between its administrators and users, especially from abroad, and that new supplements and comments will be acquired. Therefore, we cordially invite you to be a part of the "living" compendium focused on granitoids of the Bohemian Massif.More information about the Atlas on our website.
